Hey, I am phixxy. I am in my 30's, from the US, and use he/him pronouns. Just found out about the tilde's and decided to join one. I have been a linux user since ~2009ish. I run some servers for some of my friends. I code a little bit, mostly in python but I am learning some C. I eventually want to get into some OS dev, or at least creation of some lower level software like drivers, shells, or terminal emulators. I work in an unskilled and nontechnical job, which gives me plenty of time and motivation to learn as a hobby. Hoping to get to meet some people around here. ubuntu > linux mint debian edition > debian > devuan > void linux

i am in academia. i do ml, which is more math and less cs.
